Winter decor sounds nicer than “decorating after Christmas,” don’t you think? Another upside to winter decor is that it can work into the Christmas season. But here’s the thing: it doesn’t have to be an afterthought. Don’t get me wrong; I miss the lights, glitter, and greenery when the holiday season is over but discovering new ideas for DIY winter decor projects is a fun way to pass the time. It’s a time to transition from glitz and glam to decorating with simplicity, following the premise that less is more. Instead of dreading the time after Christmas, we embrace it welcoming a quieter time until spring.
